"What appears to be obvious may be just a slight of hand hiding something more subtle but equally as intriguing. I hope that my paintings evoke a question - and perhaps offer one of the multitudes of answers. At the same time, I hope the paintings are pleasing in that place that makes you content, even happy, and allows for the possibility of just a brief moment of clarity."

The artist's works have been shown and hang throughout the country. In addition to showing her work in galleries her works have appeared in juried exhibitions in the Mid-Atlantic area. Included in her featured artist shows are two exhibitions at the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts, an affilitate of the Virginia Museum of Art; solo show through the Capitol Hill Art League in Washington, DC. Her works have hung at Belmont Museum.

In 1996 Ross became a member of the North Windsor Artists, its areas longest standing and most recognized artists' group. Ross is one of the founding members of Blue Door Studio. She is co-Founder of North Windsor Gallery located at Libertytown Art Center inFredericksburg, Virginia. She is a member of the King George Art Guild which in addition to hosting a bi-annual juried art show, also provides scholarships for students going on to study art at college as well as provides art lessons children in the community. She is also founder of ArtSpeaks Gallery.
